Welcome to My Ginormous Climb Page!
Each year, over 1,500 kids and families are referred to the Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC) for the help and support they need to heal from sexual and physical abuse and exploitation. I am proud to be participating in this year's Ginormous Climb to help raise critical funds and awareness for some of our community's most vulnerable members. As part of the climb, I will be climbing the 60 floors to the top of of 200 Clarendon (New England's tallest building, formerly known as the John Hancock Tower) on April 1, 2017. Thank you for your suppport!
As part of Harvard Law School's Child Advocacy Clinic this semester, I am working as an intern in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Human Trafficking and Child Protection Units. I have come to learn a lot about human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Massachusetts. I have heard stories of children who have experienced what no person should experience, and I continue to be inspired by their resilience and patience. If you can, please help support these survivors and the amazing people who helped them get there by contributing to critical support services for the Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County, MA.
You can learn more about the CAC and their work on their website: www.suffolkcac.org. The trafficking work they do with the SEEN program (Support to End Expoloitation Now) is available at http://www.suffolkcac.org/programs/seen/
